The Execution of Mr. Stanley Williams

Well they Killed Mr. Williams about 35 minutes ago for a crime he committed 25 years ago.
You can't even find the story on the news right now so here it is.
African Americans are 12% of our nation yet they make up 41.7% of death row inmates.
Since 1976 12 White Americans have been executed for killing Black Americans, Yet 207 Black Americans have been executed for killing White Americans.
34% of defendants Executed since 1976 have been black though they make up only 12% of our nation, and 80% of victims in death penalty convictions have been white.
The United States General Accounting Office states in a 1990 report that " In 82% of the studies (reviewed), race of the victim was found to influence the likelihood of being charged with capital murder or receiving the death penalty."
He was prosecuted by a California legal system that would have continued to protect racist police from prosecution but a video camera caught police beating Mr. King unconscious one night.
Was Mr. Williams the Nobel peace prize nominee guilty, maybe, should he have received the death penalty for the crimes he may have committed 25 years ago. That doesn't matter now because he is already dead.
Was this Justice?
No it wasn't.
"To threaten me with death does not accomplish the means of the criminal justice system or satiate those who think my death or my demise will be a closure for them. Their loved ones will not rise up from the grave and love them. I wish they could. I sympathize or empathize with everyone who has lost a loved one. But I didn't do it. My death would not mollify them."
Of the execution, he said: "I'll go through it with dignity, with integrity, with love and bliss in my heart. I smile at everything, and I'm quite sure I'll smile then, too."
